5K or bust!

I never thought I’d ever be a runner. EVER. In fact, I still don’t think I am. Yet I do. Run. Which would make me a runner – right?

Crossing the finish line of my first 5K

A year ago, I signed up to do my first ever 5K. Still to this day I cannot believe I ran that 5K last April. Nor can I believe I did the 5K in November. Or the 5K on Sunday. But I did. Because I’ve continued to push myself. It may not feel like I push myself as hard as I think I should, but doing a 5K is proof that I’m doing something right.

Who wants to run this with me? Who will push themselves outta their comfort zone and do it? You don’t HAVE to run the whole way, a lot of people walk it!

Ready for the challenge? Send me your name and email address and I’ll put together a couple of practice runs between now and then.

Unsure you can do this but maybe possibly thinking about considering it? Email me your info and I’ll hook you up with other local MN friends – together maybe ya’ll can do a 5 Week to 5K Program

Outside of MN? I would love it if you found a local race on April 17th and joined us remotely! Google 5K and the name of your city to find local calenders & 5K’s in your area. Feel free to email me with your name & blog title and I’ll link back to it showing everyone who is going to do a 5K on that day!
